Wolfbane Books decided to write a book that was an allegory, beautifully illustrated from the famous illustrator Stephen Crotts. They came to me and wanted to do a simple book trailer that explains the themes of the book, the reasons why the book was written, and to show the illustrator actively working on it.
THE PROCESS
We got together online and spent some time writing the scripts, so that when we got together in person, we were able to film Shay’s interview quickly. Having the scripts nailed down and on the teleprompter for the day of filming makes everything just move more smoothly.
We were also able to get together with the illustrator to get b-roll footage of him sketching drawings for the book. The final video came together quickly and beautifully with the interview, voiceover, and b-roll, that helped Wolfbane Books generate tons of sales of their book all over the world.
