Ever since Wolfbane books started in 2020 they have done a book trailer for each of their books. By doing this, it helps generate sales, and can be used for a Kickstarter or other crowd sourcing campaign. With this project, the book, The Story of God, Our King, was the second installment in a trilogy of books. They wanted to make a video that featured the authors and the illustrator, to talk through the inspiration behind the beautiful illustrations in the book, as well as the major themes.
THE PROCESS
Just like many of the other Wolfbane videos we have worked on, this video was scripted before with our team and the Wolfbane team so that when we got together to shoot, everything was planned out meticulously.
We were able to get together, set up the Teleprompter with the previously written script, and knock out the interview portions quickly. Afterwards we were able to get b-roll footage of the illustrator working on the designs for the different pages of the book.
