An important video created to tell personal stories for policy making.
Back in 2018, Airbnb’s public policy team contacted us about traveling to Hawaii to capture several stories of different Airbnb hosts. The city government was considering banning all short term rentals on all of the islands, and Airbnb wanted to figure out a way to reach a compromise with the legislature. So we came in and met with several different hosts throughout the main island, and captured their stories using personal interviews with each of them. We were able to bring along our drone and capture the wonderful native lands as b-roll footage to go alongside the interviews.
